Funds Needed!
The board has approved the purchasing of a farmette with a large house for the "Hannah House" ministry. A small cabin has been used in the past numbers of years, but the need is greater; expansion is necessary. We are actively raising the funds for the purchase of this facility. If you would like to contribute, please contact the Door of Hope office (828.859.0126), or if you wish to remain anonymous & receive a tax-deductible receipt, send your contribution to: Mennonite Foundation Door of Hope Account PO Box 483 Goshen, IN 46527

The Hannah House is a safe place where wounded girls and ladies can find rest and healing while they are working through the hurts in their heart. This ministry is not designed to be a long-term home, but is open to an individual for as long as is needed for each situation. John and Arlene Hurst from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will be serving as house parents, and will provide mentoring and a family-style environment at the home. Each individual is expected to consent to meet with one of our counselors during the duration of their stay, for as long and as much as the counselor feels is needed for complete and total healing. The Hannah House is not a "get away from life" experience; it is a place to find freedom and wholeness.
