Hannah Ministry

A place of security & rest. A place to experience shepherding. A place to be valued & loved. A place of quiet & peace. A place of healing. A place of hope

To provide a place of rest & safety for girls/ladies who have been wounded, abused, & broken. To provide a place to receive acceptance, mentoring, & counsel. To give hope, restore freedom, & impart God's healing to the gentle hearts of His daughters who have been wounded.

Funds Needed!

At this time we have one small cabin to house the girls that come for the Hannah House. We are so greatful for the blessings God has given us already! Funds are continually needed for housing expenses, food, and general needs of the Hannah House. If you would like to contribute, please contact the Door of Hope office (828.859.0126), or if you wish to remain anonymous & receive a tax-deductible receipt, send your contribution to:

The Hannah House is a safe place where wounded girls and ladies can find rest and healing while they are working through the hurts in their heart. This ministry is not designed to be a long-term home. Each girl is allocated two to three weeks in the home depending on the situation. Longer stays are determined by the councelor as well as Julia Ruth Miller. Each individual is expected to consent to meet with one of our counselors during the duration of their stay, for as long and as much as the counselor feels is needed for complete and total healing. The Hannah House is not a "get away from life" experience; it is a place to find freedom and wholeness.

If you are interested in coming or learning more about this program, please contact the Door of Hope Office at 828-859-0126.

Julia Ruth Miller is in place as a mentor for the women who come to find healing at the Hannah House. She stays with the girls at the cabins and is in charge of their daily activities as well as their schedules for counseling. She has a vision for these girls and poors her heart into their well being. Please keep her in your prayers that she will have the direction and strength to help these women find God's will and healing in their lives.
