Fern Petersheim - Care Provider Introduction
Fern Petersheim spent years loving God while quietly battling pressure, shame, and expectations that felt impossible to meet. She often believed something was wrong with her. But through the Holy Spirit, Cleansing Stream Ministries, and the steady work of biblical counseling, Fern encountered the freedom of Christ. In that journey, she learned to break shame, release generational patterns, forgive, and step confidently into her God-given identity.
Today, Fern is known for coming alongside women who see themselves in her story—women who have carried responsibility, pain, or silence for far too long. She has a gift for helping women break out of shame and experience lasting breakthrough. Whether she’s encouraging a young mother, walking with a woman healing from a difficult marriage, or supporting someone rebuilding after years of struggle, Fern leads with compassion and a steady, grace-filled presence that helps women step into hope and new life in Christ.
Fern and her husband, Elam, make their home in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They are parents to four adult children and grandparents to a growing crew they adore. Family is one of Fern’s greatest joys, and her lived experience as a wife, mother, and grandmother continues to deepen the compassion and wisdom she brings to the women she serves.
